Adam Ogilvie creates paintings of brightly colored enigmatic landscapes and sculptures of hybrid creatures made of cardboard and screws. Reminiscent of video games and cartoons, his imaginary creatures are playing and leaping through an invented space. Born in 1971, he lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He has a B.A. in fine arts from Yale University and a M.F.A from the School of Visual Arts, New York. In September 2007, he had his first solo show at Josée Bienvenu gallery, New York.
