Jacob El Hanani Micrography has a rich tradition in Judaism, used either as decoration or for the transcription of holy texts, but Moroccan-born artist Jacob El Hanani embraces it for its own sake. Guggenheim Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, The Jewish Museum, The Brooklyn Museum, Musee national d’Art Moderne, Centre George Pompidou, Paris, The British Museum, London, The Menil Collection in Houston, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
